L’idea: il nulla e la trasparenza. Enormi quinte in vetro si posizionano nel locale, diaframmi-barriera trasparenti a separare la zona in piedi da quella a sedere. Nel centro il banco bar ricorda una fetta di formaggio mangiata dal grande topo. Una parete in assi divide l’interno dall’esterno: un omaggio a Duchamp, con ventiquattro orinatoi ordinatamente appesi al contrario. L’unica cosa che resta, alla fine, è il vetro. La trasparenza. Tutto il resto è mobile, allestitivo, variabile.


The idea: nothing and transparency. The space is divided up by enormous wings of glass, transparent screen-barriers that separate the standing area from the sitting one. The counter of the bar in the middle looks like a slice of cheese nibbled by a huge rat. A large wall of wooden boards separates the inside from the outside; it is a tribute to Duchamp, with twenty-four urinals hung upside down on it in rows. The only thing that’s left, in the end, is the glass, transparency. All the rest is movable, temporary, variable.
